Robson Green has landed a role in a new drama.
The TV favourite will play an oddball in Catch You Later. It will reunite him with pal Jason Watkins decades after they first worked together on Soldier Soldier.
Robson said: “I am so stoked to be working alongside Jason Watkins again on the new drama Catch You Later. Jason is such a talented actor with a remarkable ability to bring depth and nuance to his characters.”

Robson and Jason will play neighbours in the series. Their characters will be locked in a bitter rivalry that turns nasty.

Robson said: “The psychological thriller aspect of the story promises to be a gripping ride. I can’t wait to dive into the cat-and-mouse dynamics. It’s going to be an unforgettable journey!”
A show insider said: “The story centres around a high stakes game of psychological chess between the two neighbours.”
The four-part series, which will also star Ackley Bridge’s Sunetra Sarker, will air next year on Channel 5.
Last year, Robson cheated death when the plane he was flying on back from a work trip to the Amazon was hit by lightning. The Grantchester star, 59, revealed how 24 hours before our interview he had an “out of body experience”.
He says: “I’ve been in some storms but that was top of the list, an absolute beauty. “On the way back from Brazil we were taking off and lightning hit the plane – the engine died, but then quickly came back on.”
