Harry Potter star Emma Watson’s £30,000 Audi A3 has reportedly been towed by police after it was parked ‘illegally’ in Stratford-upon-Avon.
It’s claimed the 33-year Hermione Granger actress was unaware of a ‘No Parking’ sign and subsequently blocked off the entrance to a car park for around three-and-a-half hours. A local pizza restaurant manager said Emma visited a nearby pub – the Rose & Crown – during that time period, with her car trapping others in.
The manager added that after failing to find the owner of the blue vehicle after their shift at Red Hot Mamma pizzeria, they called Warwickshire Police who duly dispatched a tow truck to the scene.

The manager, who asked to remain anonymous, told MailOnline: “I went into every single restaurant in the area asking if anyone owned the car. No one admitted that it was their car so I was forced to call the police so they would move the car and I could get out.”
After explaining it was the “last thing they needed” after a 12-hour shift, the manager continued: “But when the police started to tow her car away, she came flying out of the pub shouting, ‘That’s my car, that’s my car!'”
A witness told the same publication: “It must have been about 11pm when I saw Emma Watson outside in the street. Police had impounded her Audi A3 and it had been loaded onto a recovery truck. She was out pleading with them not to take her car away. But they weren’t listening and it was towed away. Apparently she had parked in front of some gates and blocked this guy in for hours.”
Local authority Warwickshire County Council says it issues a £70 charge for serious parking contraventions – a somewhat tiny dent in Emma’s reported £60 million fortune. In November, meanwhile, Emma looked sensational as she dressed up to the nines for the premiere of We Dare to Dream.
Her appearance on the red carpet was her first public event for a considerable period after keeping her life relatively low-key in recent years. She stepped out over the summer to show off her latest swimsuit campaign, but otherwise, her social media accounts remain almost dormant.
