Tamara Wall has opened up about returning to Hollyoaks.
The 46-year-old actress is set to return to the Channel 4 soap as Grace Black in upcoming scenes less than a year after she was dramatically axed after playing the iconic character for 10 years.
However, new producers have decided to bring Grace back and Tamara has opened up about her big comeback and what fans can expect from her return.

Speaking to Daily Star, Tamara said: “I missed it so much, it literally hurt my insides. I’ve been early to work everyday so that tells you something. It’s been so nice being back. I walked into the building on the first day and everybody came up to me with open arms and said ‘Oh my god, we’ve missed you. I feel very loved.
“I had meeting with Hannah [Cheers] in Liverpool and I got into my car and cried because I was so happy. I wouldn’t have even questioned it.” Fans will remember that Grace was sent to jail after taking the full blame for the botched heist plot involving herself, Zara Morgan, Cindy Cunningham and Damon Kinsella.
Her exit scenes showed the blonde bombshell get transfered to a prison in Glasgow after seducing and blackmailing a security officer – with Grace doing so in order to be close to young son Curtis who was to staying with Courtney Campbell in Scotland.
Tamara added: “Because Grace is in prison there’s only so much you can do in four walls. I’m so surprised and really happy they’ve given me so many scenes in the prison. You don’t usually get many because people may get bored of seeing people in a prison room but I’ve been lucky and they’ve given me loads of scenes and there’s some funny ones.”
Soap bosses confirmed last month that Grace was returning as she appeared in the Hollyoaks Spring trailer and Tamara has been been blown away by the reaction from fans. She explained: “The craziest thing about it was the first clip that went out you literally saw the tiniest flash of the side of my face and I wouldn’t have noticed me in it and I couldn’t beloved how many people freeze framed it and put it up on social media.
“I was telling my fiance at home and showing him the screen grab and he was like ‘Oh my god Tam, It’s so good that fans know you so much they noticed you in that tiny split second’. It’s really nice and I’m really excited.”
Hollyoaks airs weeknights on E4 at 7pm and first look episodes can be streamed Channel 4 at 7.30pm
