A filmmaker of a hit sci-fi movie has accused tech billionaire Elon Musk of stealing his designs.
Alex Proyas, director of 2004 film I, Robot reckons Musk has nicked his designs for humanoid machines and self-driving vehicles.
The tycoon has unveiled Tesla’s futuristic Cybercab, complete with winged doors and no steering wheel or pedals.

A new look at its Optimus robots were also shown at the “We, Robot” showcase event, which plays on the title of Isaac Asimov’s short story collection.
But Mr Proyas, whose film stars Will Smith as a detective sceptical of obedient androids, accused Musk of copying him.
He said: “Hey Elon, can I have my designs back please.”
The Australian film director said he had worked with a “very talented design team” to create the film’s visuals.
He added that Musk “has a not so talented design team who watched a lot of movies, including I, Robot it seems”.
