Home and Away actor Orpheus Pledger has been arrested after it was alleged he stomped on a woman’s head during an assault.
The Australian actor escaped from police earlier this week following his detainment. He was on the run for three days before he was found and arrested.
Pledger managed to get out of Royal Melbourne Hospital, where he was being watched by police guard. It is believed that the former Mason Morgan actor breached his bail conditions by walking out of the building at 6:10pm on Monday 22 April.

CCTV TV footage of the alleged attack shows an unknown woman who has her hair pulled from behind by a man. She is pulled to the ground and the attack takes place off camera.
According to reports, a shadow appears to show the man stamping on her head. The Sun reported: “The woman is said to have called the police saying “he’s coming” before the phone line was disconnected.”
She has reportedly suffered serious injuries from the incident, including a haematoma on her head and cuts on her face. An inside source spoke to Daily Mail in Australia and claimed: “Orpheus has been exerting this problematic behaviour for a while, since he relocated back to Melbourne after his character was killed off.”
Home and Away fans may recognise Pledger from the Aussie soap, which he appeared in between 2016 and 2019 as lifeguard Mason Morgan. He filmed 339 episodes of the show, which currently airs on Channel 5 in the UK.
Since he left the show, Pledger has mainly been away from the spotlight.
Orpheus has previously had a run in with the law after he was arrested on drug charges in 2021. He was found carrying crystal meth and valium, which resulted on a good behaviour order for six months, a $150 AUD fine and a drug awareness course.
As well as Home and Away, Orpheus has previously appeared on Neighbours as Noah Parkin. In 2022, the actor landed a slot in SAS Australia but voluntarily withdrew from the series two days later after a psychological evaluation.
