Inside P Diddy conspiracy about star’s ‘underground tunnels to Playboy mansion’

Rumours have been circulating about P Diddy’s mansion.

The American rapper, also known as Sean Combs, Puff Daddy and Love, has been the subject of wild online rumours suggesting he has secret underground tunnels beneath his home leading to the Playboy Mansion. The 54 year old rapper is currently incarcerated awaiting trial after being charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, transportation and engaging in prostitution, charges which he “categorically denies”.

The music star has entered a plea of not guilty to all charges. In the meantime, social media is rife with stories about him, his life and career.

A previously widespread rumour suggested there was a secret underground tunnel at his LA residence. However, this theory has been debunked by a news outlet and law enforcement searches.

The unfounded conspiracy theory began when a fake screenshot of a CNN television report was created, which appeared legitimate. The web’s buzzing after a viral clip alleged “Underground tunnels found at Diddy’s LA home”, sparking wild online debate with unfounded claims linking it to Michael Jackson’s pad and the Playboy Mansion.

However, cop searches and building permits settled the rumour. CNN’s Emily Kuhn slammed the brakes on the gossip in a chat with Reuters, saying: “That is a manipulated image and not something CNN reported.”

To clear the air, the news juggernaut hammered home that the broadcast was a fake with an official announcement. Estate agents have revealed the hip hop mogul’s LA crib boasts a subterranean swimway hooking up his pool to a secret grotto boasted as a hot feature when Diddy snagged the mansion in 2014.

In recent P Diddy news, outside the courthouse on September 17 his solicitor Marc Agnifilo declared: “Mr Combs is a fighter, he’s going to fight this to the end. He’s innocent. He came to New York to establish his innocence. He’s not afraid, he’s not afraid of the charges.”

The defence team has also expressed that Combs “cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus”. Having already spent three weeks in jail, Combs is braced for a much lengthier stint inside, with no release in sight until his hearing commences on May 5, 2025.

A guilty verdict could get him a stint of at least 15 years in prison, if not a life sentence.
