A man with three wives has explained just how he keeps things sexy in the bedroom.
Nick Davis is currently starring on TLC reality show Seeking Sister Wife, along with his wives Jennifer, April and Danielle. The pair use a 12ft bed and a separate room – nicknamed the “boom boom room” for sexy times. April admitted on the show: “We officially have a 12ft wide bed.”
On the show, Nick admitted the delivery company had only ever delivered one other bed of that gargantuan size – to a member of the Denver Nuggets basketball team. He acknowledged that plenty of polyamorous couples don’t share a sleeping space because of practicalities.

But for the Davis clan, it’s different. April said: “That’s just the way we like to do it. Because we don’t want to have to divide up that time with Nick.”

In the episode, Nick showed the cameras their separate sex room, telling his wives: “Now we have the sleeping quarters taken care of, we might need to reload the boom boom room.” Danielle quipped: “We can’t be calling it that!”
Nick then revealed: “As far as the sexual attention that each of my wives receives, it’s kind of like a solar system.” He referred to himself as the sun in that particular analogy, and his wives as ‘planets’ that ‘orbit’ him. He said: “Each of the planets revolves around the sun in its own orbit, at its own distance. They don’t all receive the same amount of sunlight, but they all receive what they need to remain in their orbit.”

But the arrangement clearly wasn’t working, as in season five Danielle packed up her stuff and left just as Nick was planning to add another wife to the brood. Nick explained: “”I went up to the kitchen and I noticed that all my plants were gone from the windowsill. That’s when she very matter-of-factly just told me. She said, ‘No, I am moving out. I’ve got my own apartment, and I’m leaving.'”
Nick refused to get a job despite sharing a young daughter, Vera, with Jenn and another teen child from a previous relationship – but says his wives “prefer” him to stay at home instead of earning.

Before she left, Danielle expressed her discontent with the plan to date another woman, explaining: “I know the plan has been to date, add more wives and kids but I just got married and we just had Vera. I want to enjoy being a first time mom and a wife for a bit. I don’t see why we would need to rush into dating so soon.”
Jennifer, meanwhile, said: “If she is overall having an issue with dating, that’s concerning to me because that process isn’t going to change. We’re going to continue to seek another sister wife until out family is complete … That’s what we wanted to make sure she knew from the start.”
