Honey Ross believes she has something in common with the Royal Family
Jonathan Ross’ daughter has confessed that feeling ‘overexposed’ in the public eye hasn’t been easy for her. Showcasing the chemistry she shares with her father, the youngster has embarked on a podcast venture with the man synonymous with British television.
And in a recent episode of Reel Talk with Honey and Jonathan Ross, she opened up about her feelings regarding the finale of The Crown. With the end of the Queen’s life played out on the show, the last scenes hit home with Honey, who’s been through her own fair share of difficult situations.

She explained: “I don’t blame any of the actors because they’re all doing their absolute best, it’s an incredible performance that Elizabeth Debicki is giving but, it felt icky to me, [because it was so recent]. I think what I was trying to say earlier, we have been overexposed in the public eye at different times in our lives and it’s a horrible feeling, it’s so invasive, and I hate that for Will, I hate [it] for them.”
Jonathan then offered his stance on the Royal Family, explaining why he believes that the media doesn’t have a true understanding of what really goes on within Buckingham Palace. He asserted: “The situation between Harry and William, for example, we don’t really know the truth of it, but the newspapers are serving up the closest they can get to it. But they don’t really know, and they’re offering sometimes things as fact which we know are dubious.
“So back then, there was next to no reporting, and what they might have snuck at, would have been tamped down by the Crown and by the government.” He added: “It’s a fascinating period because you realise things were going on which maybe you’ve heard rumours of or echoes of, but it wasn’t reported as common knowledge as perhaps things today in the Royal Family, so there was an element where they were peeling back the veil a bit, we’re seeing something we didn’t know for sure even though we suspected.”
Honey went through a difficult time growing up, often worrying about her physical appearance. This stemmed from the ‘toxic’ diets her parents placed her on. However, the influencer, who admitted on Loose Women that she used to ‘hate herself’, has utilised her own experiences as a method of helping other people. The writer and body positivity activist is a frequent poster on social media, where she offers advice to her 56.8K Instagram followers.
