But the mum-of-three revealed the prospect couldn’t be further from her mind. In a previous interview with The Sun, she discussed whether she could consider finding love again one day.

“I can think of the support I’ll need and that sort of thing but when it comes to me, my life is the boys,” Jessica explained. “That’s enough for me. That’s where my thinking stops.”

She added: “It terrifies me that I’m suddenly going to be in a house on my own, the sole adult with three young boys. The prospect of being a single mum and a widow is awful to think about.”

Jessica, who prefers to keep out of the spotlight, recalled her husband apologising profusely for having cancer. She said: “He couldn’t stop apologising. He kept saying ‘sorry’ over and over and I just kept telling him it wasn’t his fault.”

Following his diagnosis, Jonnie and Jessica decided not to tell their children that he was dying. Explaining the reason behind their decision, he told said: “Why break their hearts when they’re having such fun?

“If you have 20 days left, why spend them in mourning and confusion? Why not just have 15 days of pure, blissful ignorance and five days of knowing the facts?”

Jonnie’s passing was announced on his Instagram page on Friday (February 2). The emotional statement branded the TV star a “truly remarkable soul” who fought cancer with “unwavering strength and courage”.
