Kanye West has been urged to get “checked out” after fans spotted he appeared to have some sort of growth on the centre of his upper lip shortly after getting undergoing an experimental dental surgery.
The rapper, 46, debuted a bizarre metallic grin in January after having a set of permanent titanium teeth installed. The terrifying dentures, which were inspired by Bond villain Jaws, reportedly cost an eye-watering $850,000 (£670,000).
But just a month after showing off his permanent new look, Kanye has sparked concerns among his fans during one of his recent outings as he sported a visible “bubble” like lump on his lip. In a video shared to his Instagram on Monday, Kanye pointed the camera at himself as he walked through an airport with his wife, Bianca Censori, 29.

The musician told fans who’ve critcised him for posting content of his wife on social media to “go f*** yourself” as he declared “she make me happy”. But it was the lump on his lip that got fans attention as they flooded the comment section to ask him what it was.
“What’s that thing on yo lip,” one person said. A second wrote: “What’s going on with his top lip.”
A third commented: “Why you growing a nipple on your lip tho?” While another added: “What’s that big bubble thing on your lip?”
One even urged him to see a doctor about the lump. “Go get your lip checked out,” they wrote.
Fans quickly began speculating what could have caused the growth. “He has cold sores. Might be just that with inflamation in an awkward place,” one person said.
Another blamed his new titanium teeth, adding: “Titanium teeth must be causing unnecessary friction to the lips.” While some jumped to even more extreme conclusions. “What happened to your face? Clone Kanye comin in hot,” a third wrote.
Kanye’s new teeth are “fixed prosthodontics” and were designed by the rapper himself. “They are, as the name suggests, fixed and permanent,” a source told Page Six.
They added: “This goes way beyond veneers or grills. And his particular implant is quite unlike anything that has been done before.” The dental surgery was carried out by self-proclaimed “Father of Diamond Dentistry” Dr Thomas Connelly, who’s based in Beverly Hills, and master dental technician Naoki Hayashi.
Dr Connelly told the Daily Mail Kanye “was a pleasure to work with every step of the process,” as “his vision for designing unique art transcends the dental progression.” He added: “The marriage of his vision with dental science has created a new look that is epic!”
