Katie Price is in a battle with her local council over Harvey’s health needs.
The former glamour model was utterly gobsmacked when an assessor reportedly claimed her eldest son has “no health problems”. This means that officials will only support the 22-year-old with social care.
It comes after the TV star previously explained to fans that she was trying to get the funding to put her son through another year of college. However, the mum-of-five has now revealed that Harvey is set to leave college after Christmas and may be moving closer to his mum.

Speaking on The Katie Price Show which she hosts with her sister Sophie, she claimed it is likely he will be moved into social care. The 46-year-old said: “The socials came back yesterday, the people who do the funding, and they believe by seeing Harvey that Harvey has no healthcare issues.
“That he only needs social care issues. They think he has no health problems so they’re not funding, and want him to live in a social care place.
“So now, obviously the doctors and all that are good with me. He has a passport for the hospital, he’s on medicine to keep him alive, he’s cortisol deficient so can go into adrenaline crisis at any time, if he’s ill, he ends up in hospital.”
She added: “What are they on about? Anyone out there if you’re in a situation like me, like everyone knowns Harvey has healthcare issues, it’s been documented and I’ve done documentaries on it. But they think it’s just behaviour.”
The Celebrity Big Brother winner went on to add that she will be appealing to the council for this to be changed in the near future. Katie went on: “I’m like, ‘Are you kidding me?’ and I’m not having to appeal. Even his social worker is like, ‘You’ve got to appeal it’ and it’s all because of money.
“I will not be letting Harvey suffer but it looks like he will be coming home. Not home, I mean a place nearer me, up the road. He won’t be able to stay at college after Christmas.”
Harvey was diagnosed with septo-optic dysplasia when he was a baby. He also has autism and Prader-Willi syndrome, which is a generic disorder that causes physical and mental issues.
Katie’s battle for healthcare funding comes as doctors are looking into changing her son’s medication. The TV personality revealed she was surprised by a recent DNA test doctors performed on her eldest son.
She went on: “They’re changing his meds, but how fascinating is this. They’ve done a DNA [test] on his mouth, they’re sending it to America to test it, to know that the medication, if he can have different ones than they do now for his behaviour and his health.”
