Katie Price launches police investigation as she says she won’t be evicted

Katie Price has said she will not be packing her bags and leaving Mucky Mansion this month after it was reported that she’d been served with an eviction notice.

It had been reported that the model and TV star – who has been declared bankrupt twice – was being booted from her West Sussex home on May 29. But she has now set the record straight, saying there is going to be a police investigation over the whole thing.

Her rep told Daily Star: “Kate will not be evicted from her property on 29th May. All paperwork regarding this has been obtained, opened, and shared with media illegally by a local resident. The police have been notified and will be investigating.”

Earlier this week the Mirror claimed that mum-of-five Katie was being evicted. The publication claimed the notice was dated April 24 and that it stated that “the eviction will take place on May 29th, 2024, at 10am”.

The star and “any other occupiers” were said to have been ordered to arrange to leave the property with their belongings before that date.

The letter reportedly said: “The court has issued a warrant or writ for the possession of the above property (land) at the request of the claimant. A warrant gives a county court bailiff the authority to evict you and hand over possession to the claimant.

“A writ gives a High Court Enforcement Officer the authority to evict you and hand over possession to the claimant. In this notice the term ‘Authorised Person’ is used to refer to either the Bailiff or the High Court Enforcement Officer.”

Katie bought her country pad in 2014 but there was talk of it having fallen into disrepair. However, she decide to tackle it in front of the TV cameras and in 2022 launched her Mucky Manion TV series.

The show aired on Channel 4. And it saw the 45-year-old working to turn the dilapidated house into a stunning family home for her and her children – Harvey, 21, Junior, 18, Princess, 16, Jett, 10, and nine-year-old Bunny.

Earlier this year the TV star was declared bankrupt for a second time over an unpaid tax bill of £761,994.05.
