Katie Price’s latest pet addition has sparked major concern among her online followers.
The former glamour model, who has faced criticism from animal rights charities urging her to stop owning pets, purchased the £1,200 Sphynx cat named Frog back in February.
Over the years, Katie has raised eyebrows as five dogs, a chameleon and a horse have tragically died under her care, many due to road traffic accidents near her Sussex home.

It was also suggested that Katie had “lost interest” in her puppy, Tank, and rehomed him. Despite PETA offering her money in February to cease owning animals, the mother of five declined the offer and reportedly attempted to engage with PETA on multiple occasions.
Now, the TV personality has proudly introduced Frog to her 2.6 million Instagram followers. The post, which shows the hairless cat comfortably sprawled out on a rug or blanket, quickly attracted over 2,000 likes and a flurry of comments expressing concern.
The Sphynx breed, known for its lack of fur and originating from Toronto, Canada, is recognised for its curious and energetic nature, reports the Mirror. “I hope you take good care of this cat Katie,” grumbled one fan. Another chimed in to say: “I hope you look after it properly they need a lot of looking after.”
“Till he’s not cute on Instagram any more…” derided a third follower. Another person fretted: “How long until you give this one up? You don’t deserve animals and the @rspca should get involved.” “Wonder how long this one will last,” speculated another online critic. In a stark missive sent her way earlier this year, PETA warned Katie Price : “Things have gone horribly wrong with many of the animals under your supervision.”
Elisa Allen, Vice President of PETA, impressively kept her cool as she told courageously told Katie: “While your intentions may be good, the ever-growing number of animals who have either died under your supervision or been given away is impossible to ignore, and people are rightly concerned.”
“Whatever you may offer as reasons for their suffering, relinquishment, or demise, the fact is that you are consistently harming these sensitive, sentient individuals, and I hope you agree that this is a solution.”
Katie has yet to issue an official reply addressing Froggy’s fate, but previously, chatting with her sister Sophie on her podcast The Katie Price Show, she casually mentioned: “Fifteen minutes before I come on here, I get a call from a friend across the road, ‘Kate, someone has just given me a puppy, they can’t have it, can you have it? ‘”.
“I am like, ‘What is it? ‘ ‘A Black Labrador,’ and I went, ‘Aw I really can’t have any more dogs, and I said, ‘Just bring it over.’ So I have got a nine-week-old Labrador puppy. They had puppies, sold it to someone and they got it for their kid who has got autism but the kid is going absolutely mad with it. They have had it three weeks, the puppy must be 12 weeks, sorry. Tiny it is.”
