Lauryn Goodman says she’s ‘attracted to red flags’ in brutal dig at Kyle Walker

Lauryn Goodman has admitted she is attracted to “d***heads” and anyone waving a “red flag”.

The reality star has gone on Celebs Go Dating in a bid to find love. It comes after this summer’s court clash with married footballer Kyle Walker over child maintenance for the two young children they have together – Kairo, four, and 13-month-old Kinara.

Lauryn has now opened up to OK! magazine, suggesting that she doesn’t have the best track record when it comes to romance. She also shared that the experts on the dating show had told her she was in a “cycle of fear” when it came to her love life.

The star said that her first relationship was a good one but that things later went “downhill”. “I had another good long-term relationship, but they can get complacent and treat you with a lack of respect,” she said.

“I gave him one chance and he blew it. I’m cut-throat like that, you get a chance – but if you screw up again, that’s that.”

Quizzed about her type, she replied: “D***heads probably! I feel as though I am working on building myself up, so I know what I am looking for. I am just going through the process to see where it gets me.”

Asked about her red flags, she admitted: “If someone is waving a red flag, I go towards them! I just know, trust me.”

While she has signed up for the series looking for her Mr Right, the brunette said that she wasn’t actually “desperate” for love because she doesn’t need anyone to “complete” her, but that it would be an “addition”. “If it happens, it happens,” said the star. “My children are my everything.”

Lauryn recently said that Celebs Go Dating was an “intense” process.

She explained why she had decided to do it during an interview on This Morning, saying: “I was umming and ahhing about whether it was the right time and whether I should go on it because I think in one sense, people are saying, ‘You are not over your ex, why are you going on it?’

“And then in the other sense, people are saying, ‘Well now is as good a time as ever.’ So I think I just wanted to get back out there and start trying to heal from everything really and just see the process.”
