Liam Gallagher hinted the much-anticipated Oasis reunion slated for next year could become a “permanent” fixture.
The band’s lead singer opened up about the possibility of his reunion with brother Noel Gallagher extending beyond the UK and Ireland tour dates, which are scheduled from July to September next year.
In an X, formerly Twitter, exchange with fans, Gallagher suggested the duo might be around for longer than initially expected. The Oasis reunion follows in the footsteps of fellow Britpop icons Blur and Pulp, with the latter still touring and introducing new material at their live shows for the first time in over a decade. Blur also delighted fans with fresh tracks, releasing ‘The Ballad of Darren’ in 2023.

When quizzed by a fan about whether the Oasis reunion was a one-off event or a more permanent arrangement, Liam responded cryptically: “Who knows Rkid.” This response sent fans into a frenzy, with many seeking further clarification. One fan expressed hope Oasis would be back for good and the Gallagher brothers had mended their relationship.
Another pleaded for a more definitive answer. The prospect of an Oasis reunion tour has already whipped fans into a state of excitement, and Liam previously teased the possibility of new material from the brothers.
He previously boasted that Oasis have a “new” album locked and loaded, set to drop in the not-so-distant future. A curious fan fired off a question at him: “Is it true that Oasis will have a new album?” To which Liam smugly responded: “Yep it’s already finished.”
Not one to shy away from the gossip mill, on another chinwag, he reaffirmed the whispers of fresh tunes, adding a cheeky twist: “It’s in the bag mate f**k the air.”
The Mancunian rocker seems to be the mastermind behind the much-anticipated Oasis comeback, earlier spilling the beans he was the genius who pitched the reunion idea. In a tell-all, Liam spilled: “I called him but don’t tell anyone as I don’t won’t folks thinking I’m a soft lad and stuffs keep it between me n you cheers x [sic].”
