Liam Payne ranked the worst ways to die just weeks before his death.

Kate wrote on the caption that “we did this backwards” suggesting they thought fire was one of the least desirable endings.

When the bug bite option appeared on the screen, Kate said she thought that “was not that bad” before Liam said it “depends what bug”.

As for being hit by a car, Kate said it would be “quick and not too painful” before they agreed to put it at number five.

As for a piano crush, Liam said: “Musical, go way to go, I will go for two.” He then added that being killed in a stampede would be “awful”.

Both agreed that dying by natural causes was the best death before Liam said his biggest fear was a shark attack.

He said: “Shark, whoah… ten, ten!”

Fans of the former One Direction star have left comments under the video in recent hours including one who said: “This makes me sad.”

Another wrote: “RIP Liam so sad I came across this tonight. Life’s too short. Death doesn’t care who you are.”

A third said: “Wow this awful to see.”

And another commented: “Felt uncomfortable watching this. Just a normal guy doing normal things.”

Liam was killed instantly yesterday after tumbling from his hotel balcony, authorities in Argentina have said.

The horrendous accident took place on Wednesday (October 16), as the One Direction star fell from the third floor of the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires. He was found to have a fractured skull among multiple injuries, which led to his immediate passing, according to emergency services.

Alberto Crescenti, the Buenos Aires emergency services chief, shared his sorrow with The Sun, saying: “Our role was to head there quickly, give medical attention, and try to resuscitate him, but his injuries were incompatible with life.”

He further explained the devastating scene: “Based on what the team saw, there was apparently a cranial fracture and extremely serious injuries that led to his immediate death.”

Even more distressing details emerged as audio leaked online, featuring calls made by the hotel’s concerned head of reception to the emergency services. During the frantic communications, he revealed staff feared for the well-being of a guest who seemed to be endangering their own life.

In one of the calls, the head of reception stated: “We have a guest drunk with drugs and alcohol. When he [them, gender not clear in conversation] is conscious, he is breaking everything in the room.”

Clearly alarmed, he continued: “We have a guest who is destroying everything in his room. We need someone to come.”

After losing connection, he urgently rang again pleading: “We need you to send someone urgently because I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger.”

He finally expressed the harrowing worry: “They must be in a room that has a balcony. And well, we’re a little bit worried he’ll do something, that he’ll put his life at risk.”

Liam’s body was discovered in the hotel’s inner courtyard at around 5pm local time.

According to TMZ.com, witnesses claimed Liam had been “acting erratic” in the hotel lobby, with reports indicating he smashed his laptop and was escorted back to his room.

Following the tragic incident, Buenos Aires officials have initiated an inquiry into the star’s demise, while the UK Foreign Office has acknowledged contact with Argentine authorities “regarding reports of the death of a British man”.
