Lorraine Kelly has shared her excitement about her daughter’s pregnancy.
It was confirmed earlier this month that her daughter Rosie is expecting her first child. Rosie, who is the only daughter of Lorraine and her husband Steve Smith, took to her Instagram to reveal the exciting news.
At the time, Lorraine was away from her morning show, taking a half-term break. But on Monday (April 15) the TV favourite was back on her ITV show – and GMB host Susanna Reid was quick to bring up the baby news.

Lorraine said: “I’m a granny, how exciting is that. Granny Smith! Because my married name is Smith so I’m granny Smith!” Susanna giggled along, and said: “Yes, you’re granny Smith!”
Lorraine then added: “We’re all very excited. It’s huge and wonderful and yeah, it’s cheered everybody up which is great. And thank you to everyone who has sent me messages, it was really kind of you. It means a lot,” she gushed.
Susanna quipped: “What a special moment and congratulations to Rosie.” Rosie confirmed her pregnancy earlier this month.

She posted a sweet snap of her bump on Instagram as she dressed in all black while cradling her bump. She also uploaded a framed pic of a scan photo at 12 weeks.
Rosie captioned the adorable post: “The bean at 12 weeks – the size of a fig. We could not be more excited – you’re already so loved little one”.

Mum Lorraine was quick to jump into the comment section for support, writing: “The most exciting thing to have ever happened in our family. Cannot wait to be a granny and so proud of Rosie and her Steve. It’s the best news ever”.
Friends and fans also added their sweet notes to the mum-to-be. One person chimed in and penned: “Congratulations Rosie.” A second gushed: “So sweet!”
