Lorraine Kelly is about to serve Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Take Away fans with some TV gold as she readies to go undercover.
The 64-year-old front-woman for her own ITV chat show, is about to take part in the famous hidden camera stint – I’m A Celebrity… Get Out Me Ear. She’ll be given an earpiece and told what to do and say by the dynamic duo.
Ant and Dec announced that the fan-favourite programme will enter an indefinite hiatus after the twentieth series in 2024, meaning that Lorraine will be the last ever celebrity to take part. If the Geordie duo’s word is anything to go by then it would seem they’ve certainly saved the best until last.

The TV host will be sent to a department store to lark about with shoppers with the terrible two instructing her the entire time. Ant and Dec are promising viewers the stunt will be nothing shy of TV gold.
Ant said to Daily Star: “It turns out Lorraine is happy to talk to everybody. It took us hours to film the VT! She’s very funny and game for a laugh, she has a wicked sense of humour.
He added: “The viewers will enjoy it, Lorraine’s naughty side comes out.” Co-star Dec went on to say: “I thought we got stopped a lot when we were out shopping but my goodness, everybody wants to stop and talk to Lorraine Kelly!”

Meanwhile, fans can expect further trouble from the hosting twosome as they’ve also lined up a prank for their Britain’s Got Talent boss Simon Cowell. Ant and Dec went behind the scenes at his place of work on America’s Got Talent to give him the shock of a life time.
Last year, Ant and Dec confirmed that their Bafta-winning show would be coming to an end for good. Taking to Instagram, the pair dressed in their signature smart-suits delivered the devastating news.
In the video clip, Ant began: “We’ve got some news for you. Next year, in 2024, it will be our 20th series of Saturday Night Takeaway. And we’ve got some very special look-backs planned as well as some very exciting new items.”
Dec continued: “And we’ve also decided that our 20th series will be our last one for a little while. The show takes up so much of a year we just feel like we need a little bit of a breather and the show is going to take a little bit of a rest.”
He went on to add: “But before that we’ve got the 20th series to plan,” Ant remarked as Dec interjected: “And we’re looking forward to it.”
The series starts on Saturday at 7pm on ITV1.
