Love Is Blind UK has finally dropped on Netflix – and hosts Matt and Emma Willis have dropped some cryptic hints about the series’ participants.
The pair, who have been married since 2008, spoke to the Daily Star and other reporters ahead of the British dating show’s debut.
Netflix has already announced the show’s cast, which boasts a wide range of contestants including Dental Nurse Catherine, Funeral Director Freddie, Product Design Manager Sam and Social Worker Ella.
While Matt and Emma didn’t get specific about any of the show’s participants, they did describe one character as “the gift that keeps on giving”.

Asked if they believed anyone had been painted as the villain of the series, Matt confirmed that no one person fits that mould, instead describing the show’s most captivating personalities.
He said: “I think there’s a character within the show that is the gift that keeps on giving. But they’re not villainous, they’re just a fantastic character.
“But I don’t think this is the show that wants to villainise someone,” he added. “There’s not a bad bone in their body… They just really want love.
“Plus, I don’t think they’d get cast… The casting is so rigorous. It’s really pure people, you know.”
Elsewhere in the interview, asked about the couples’ ups and downs throughout the series, Emma explained: “I think everybody has a bump, but how big that bump is and how they navigate those bumps is what’s different.”
Matt added: “I think that’s what is so brilliant about this show. You really see that, however perfect something seems, everybody brings their own baggage with them.
“Whatever that is and however deep it is, it is there. And that will come to the surface at some point in a relationship and you see that and that’s what is so great about it.”
He similarly noted: “I think with any relationship, when things are good, things are good. But when you hit tough times and there’s a rock in the road, that’s when the real test in the relationship happens.
“And I think you’ll see moments like that in the show. That’s when you’re like, ‘How strong is this?’ and then you really see it.”
Love Is Blind UK premieres Wednesday, August 7 on Netflix. Part 2 will be released on August 14, followed by Part 3 on August 21.
