Joey Essex is back to his usual tricks as he’s seen flirting with Harriet Blackmore despite recoupling with Samantha Kenny in upcoming scenes.
The TOWIE star, 33, made a surprise feature in the first episode of the new series of Love Island as he appeared on the show as a contestant. Looking for love, Joey was tasked with getting to know the ladies in the villa and later choosing one person to couple up with.
Getting to know the women, Joey sparked a connection with Samantha who was already in a couple with Sam. Later on in the show, Joey made the difficult decision and announced that he wanted to share a bed with Samantha- but this meant Sam had to leave the villa with immediate effect.

Although Joey and Samantha appeared to be fairly upset over Sam’s surprise exit, Joey appears to quickly move on from the situation. On Wednesday night’s show, Joey will be seen flirting with Harriet.
In upcoming scenes, Joey and Harriet have a frank discussion privately and Essex native Joey tells her to give him a dance. Harriet proceeds to shake her hips for him but the pair later take things further by going into the hideaway.
In the hideaway, Joey spanks Harriet gently with a whip. After catching wind of what’s going on, some of the other islanders displayed their evident annoyance over the situation.

Fans at home were also not too pleased to see Joey and Harriet get close and shared their frustrations online. Heading over to socail media platform X, one person wrote: “Harriet’s bringing the drama, but she’s moving way too mad! Going to the hideaway with Joey so soon???!”
Another penned: “Knowing Joey he’ll probably think he’s in the hideaway with Samantha and not Harriet.” Joey made a surprise appearance on Love Island during the launch show on Monday night.

ITV execs are excited to see the loveable chap on their screens as they say he’s looking for love. They said: “Joey has signed up to Love Island for all the right reasons.
“He’s 33 years old and really wants to find someone he can settle down with, he wants a wife and to have children one day. Not many people know the real Joey, over the years he’s hidden behind his reality TV persona but being on Love Island will give him the opportunity to show his true self.”
