Love Island fans are singing Harriet Blackmore’s praises as they say she’s bringing much-needed drama to the show.
The hit dating series returned to screens this week and fans have been getting acquainted with the brand new singletons. But viewers seemed to have quickly warmed to dancer Harriet as she makes a bold move to Joey Essex in tonight’s episode (June 5).
TOWIE star Joey made a surprise entrance as a bombshell on Monday night. The following day he had to choose an islander to couple up with.

Joey decided to couple up with Samantha Kenny, which meant Sam Taylor became the first islander to be dumped from the island. But despite only being in a couple for less than 24 hours, Harriett decides to make her move on Joey.
Harriet was disappointed when her partner Ciaran goes into the hideaway with Nicole. Later on, she tries to get her own back.
In tonight’s preview clip shared online, Harriet tells Samantha: “I just wanted to pull you before. I’m going to pull him [Joey] but I don’t want you to think anything. I’m going to go to the Hideaway because I think Ciaran needs a taste of his own medicine.”
However, Samantha is not best pleased. She responds: “Don’t be petty.”
But fans didn’t seem to mind the drama that’s set to unfold on screen. Heading over to X, fans commented on the first look video.
One social media user wrote: “Harriett seems messy, I am liking her small small.” Another penned: “Harriett = drama, I’m here for it.”
A third said: I mean why are the girls mad Harriet pulled Joey when she said she goes for older men. Plus no one owes anyone any loyalty it’s been 3 BLOODY DAYS plus everyone going to pick Joey if it means them staying in.”
While a fourth added: “I’m confused why she’s so bothered about Harriett speaking to Joey. They’ve been couple up about 5 minutes.”
Before heading into the villa, Harriett assured fans that she will be delivering much needed drama. She said: “I’ll bring the entertainment for everyone in the Villa, whether that’s making the girls laugh or making the boys turn their heads, I’m sure that I’ll bring the drama.”
Love Island airs nightly on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm
