Love Island viewers have accused Georgia Steel of faking her way through the series after her acting career past was exposed online.
The 25-year old, who rose to fame on series four of the ITV show in 2018, has remained in the limelight ever since thanks to her appearances on Celebs Go Dating, Celebs on the Ranch and Ex on the Beach amongst others. Unbeknown to most, however, the brunette beauty first appeared on screen way back in 2013, aged 15.
The Islander starred as Amanda Bryce in CBBC sitcom All at Sea – and appeared to impress in her acting skills in archive footage that has been shared online. Scenes show teenage Georgia discussing love and romance with one of her young co-stars – somewhat of a precursor of what was to follow in her career.

Standing aptly by the sea, Georgia says in one clip: “It’s amazing you know, we’ve only been going out for two weeks. It feels like years.” After her pal mumbles a response, she adds: “When it’s right, it’s right you know? Sorry, of course you don’t.”
After a video of the scene was shared on Facebook, fans began to suggest Georgia may be putting her talents to good use in the South African villa. “I knew she was good at acting,” commented one user of the platform. Another added: “She’s still in character.”
And a third joked: “Even then you can see the loyalty ripped out of her” – about her repeated declarations in the 2018 villa that she is “loyal”. Earlier this week, meanwhile, Georgia’s family back home in England issued an urgent plea after she was the subject of “vile threats” online.
Her family, who have been running her social media accounts since the series began, hit out at cruel trolls who have singled her out for abuse. Sharing a statement on her Instagram Stories on Monday (February 5), they wrote: “Love Island is an amazing TV show and we have loved watching this series as much as anyone else.
“The last few episodes have been difficult for us to watch, but what’s far worse is the hate Georgia is receiving online. It is a TV show and everyone has their opinions, please remember it’s not real life! Sending vile threats and nasty messages and comments is totally unacceptable. Trolling is not OK.”

The family added: “Georgia is a daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend and these hurtful comments will not only devastate her when she leaves the villa, but have deeply hurt those around her. For the messages of love, support and kindness we see you and we thank you!”
