Love Island star shares how she caught boyfriend cheating using sneaky Alexa trick

If you suspect your other half is playing away, your Alexa could be the key to uncovering the truth.

Love Island’s Matilda Draper, who was paired with Sean Stone in the villa before they split post-show, confessed on a podcast that she’d done some detective work on an ex and discovered more than she’d anticipated.

The vivacious brunette, adored by ITV viewers for her eccentric character, revealed the reason behind her break-up with a former boyfriend and it all revolved around her Alexa device.

Matilda recounted how after a row one evening, she retreated to her mum’s house as she didn’t want to engage with him but he had “gone out”.

“On my way out I was scrolling through TikTok and stumbled upon a random video about how to access your Alexa voice history”, she explained, although she initially “thought nothing of it” until the following morning when curiosity led her to investigate, not expecting to unearth anything unusual, reports the Mirror.

However, when Matilda delved into the Alexa app and “listened to all the voice history”, she was left horrified by what she heard. She claimed he’d “invited a bunch of girls back to our flat, about seven girls”, and she could hear them requesting specific tunes. “All this stuff from like two in the morning to like 9am,” she raged.

She relayed all the sneaky evidence to her sis, feeling like a secret agent with her sleuth skills, and then she zoomed over to his pad. He played it cool saying he’d missed her, but she went full detective mode and hit him with: “Did you have girls back here last night?”

Her ex tried to fib it off, but she was having none of it, flashed the Alexa and said: “I’ve heard it all,” packed her bags and left him gobsmacked. Matilda still reckons it’s one of the “best things” that ever happened to her – gave her the ticket to move on, knowing the chap wasn’t worth her time.

Fans in the comments thought her trick was genius, making jokes about testing their own fellas: “*Buys my man an Alexa*”, quipped one user, while another wasn’t quite sold on the spy game, posting: “Alexa voice history is creepy like constantly being spied on NO THANKS! “.”Same thing happened to me”, shared another, sounding a bit gutted.
