Love Island’s Demi Jones admits fling with co-star and worries All Stars could be awkward

Demi Jone’s has confessed that there is one person in the villa that she had previously “done bits with” and is now worried about their encounter on Love Island: All-Stars.

The 25-year-old wouldn’t reveal the name of her co-star but did admitted that she doesn’t know if it will be “awkward” between them. She explained that she is nervous that the unknown person will “not fancy” her and wonders if it’ll be difficult watching him crack on with other contestants.

During the ITV roundtable discussion, Demi revealed that it wasn’t uncommon for other islanders to cop off with one another or slide into each others DM’s ever once in a while – especially after the programme had run it’s course. The influencer detailed that she often joked that the cast were one big “incestual family”.

The social media star isn’t going to be shy with approaching the undisclosed islander either. Demi is prepared to confront this person while on the show. Insisting that it will be common knowledge soon.

Speaking to Daily Star, she said: “Naturally I’ve spoken to people before and they’ve slid in the DMs so I think that’s who I’m nervous to see, if it’s someone I’ve been seeing in the past it is a bit like ‘Ooh are they going to fancy me’ or is it going to be awkward if they’re hooking up with someone else? So it’ll be a bit awkward.”

Giving further insight into her relationship with the person she wished not to name, Demi hinted: “I wouldn’t say full on dated obviously naturally boys do slide in the DMs. I think they watch you on the show and then they’re straight in the DMs afterwards.

“And also it’s quite exciting because you’ve gone from being on love island and being in front of the love island life and all like a big family and I’ve always described it as incestual family.‌ So I feel like you can’t meet any of us either days without it, someone has history with someone or whatever.”

Spilling further tea on the situation, Demi went on to actually name some of the people who she had been privately messaging in the past. However, there was only one of the guys she’d been intimate with previously.

She went on: “There have been a few islanders who have been in my DMs before and only one person I have done bits with so it will be interesting to see if they’re in there. But to be fair, mostly it’s a clean slate.

“And if they are in there, I will bring it up and say you know, obviously you slid in my DMs it’s the interaction still there so you will know right away and you probably tell. I’ll give you three names of who was in my DMs but I won’t say who I did bits with. Wes Nelson, Dr Alex George, Chris Taylor and Montel McKenzie, recently actually.”

Love Island: All Stars launches on Monday, January 15 at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2, ITVX and STV
