Love Island’s Georgia Harrison rules out sex on TV as she eyes up political career after show

Love Island’s Georgia Harrison has admitted she’s very conscious of what she’ll be doing while on the ITV2 show.

Georgia has made huge strides in the past few years in both the political sector and campaigning for women after being a victim of revenge porn after her ex Stephen Bear profited off a video of them having sex which was posted and filmed without her consent.

She’s been focusing on her campaigns ever since and it was recently reported that she was eyeing up a run for MP as she dabbles more in politics. However when the opportunity to return to Love Island came around, she decided to give it a go.

But she’s hoping it won’t hold her back in the political world, and while she will be conscious of her telly antics, she wants to get back the part of herself she “lost” during the trial.

Speaking to Daily Star and other press, Georgia said she’s been grateful for how she’s been perceived in the press recently. She added: “Obviously I took all of this into account because my campaign is going so well and I’m really making strides in the political sector.

“I feel like I lost a part of myself over the last couple of years. Like I am funny, I am silly. There’s so many more parts of my personality that aren’t shown because I’m talking about a quite tough and negative subject.”

While she said she’s happy to be the voice for women and stand up for women who don’t have that voice, she said she wants to go in the villa and have some fun.

However, the fun will remain very PG for Georgia. She said: “Look, I’m all for being in bed with someone cuddling and kissing and stuff, but I’m very aware. I mean I wasn’t sexually active the first time around anyway.

“But this time around I’m very aware that I am a role model for lots of young women out there. So to be honest, I would like to keep my experience PG and that is my intention for the show.”

Georgia will be going in the villa along with multiple ex islanders who want to give finding love a second shot. And despite not knowing who else she’ll see in there, she admitted one person she would love to get to know is Chris Taylor.

Luckily for Georgia, she’ll be able to get to know him well, as the TV favourite will be one of the 12 heading into the villa on day one.

Love Island: All Stars starts on Monday, January 15, at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
