Love Island’s Munveer reveals hidden tattoo meaning that could be ‘lucky’ in villa

Love Island hunk Munveer Jabbal has lifted the lid on his Cupid tattoo

The 30-year-old has just been confirmed as part of this year’s 2024 lineup for the hotly awaited dating show – hosted by Maya Jama. If his inkings are anything to go by, then love could certainly be on the cards.

When it comes to his body artwork, Munveer has certainly not been shy about flaunting it. But there’s more to his inkings than meets the eye, with many holding a deeper “spiritual” meaning.

He added: “There’s an angel, angel numbers, the evil eye, very spiritual but don’t ask me about it. Then there’s a princess here which means health and medicine. And I’ve got Ce La Vi here because that’s life.”

Meanwhile, although the budding TV star is hoping to have a crack at reality TV he explained at the media meeting that he wasn’t closing off going back to the recruitment industry completely.

He told us: “I’ve got full support from the company that I work for and the manager that I work for. I have my mum managing that process too.

“I’ve got plans outside of recruitment that I’m looking to do post Love Island. Whether or not that’s one week or eight weeks, so I’m not too hung up on what happens next, I just take it day by day at the moment.”

The tech recruitment specialist went on to explain that he hadn’t needed to resign from his job in order to be on the show. While he didn’t know what work opportunities would arise, he knew going into the ITV process that there was always a fallback option.

Munveer explained: “If I want to go back into the industry I can, you know I’m inundated with Linked-in messages all the time. I’ve got nine years of experience within the industry so whether or not I go back to my previous employer or where I am now or somewhere else, there’s an open door there.”
