MAFS Australia Lucinda has ‘deep respect’ for Tim as he unfollows her – but ‘door is open’

Married At First Sight Australia’s queen of positivity Lucinda Light has said she has “deep respect” for Timothy Smith – despite him unfollowing her out of the blue.

The duo had a rocky time on the show this year, but ultimately left as good friends. However, this week, it emerged that Tim had unfollowed Lucinda on social media out of the blue.

Lucinda, who is set to tour the UK with her An Evening With tour, spoke to Daily Star about her relationship with Tim. And while it’s on the rocks now, Lucinda hopes they can bring it back.

She told us: “I deeply respect Tim’s need to unfollow me, and I’ve said to him, and really put it out there, that I’m open for any friendship. My arms and doors are open.

“I’ve been very busy, on my trajectory of busyness. I think Tim’s a little bit sock of Lucinda this and Lucinda that.

“But deep, deep respect there. Hopefully at some point he’ll come around.”

She went on: “Tim and I are on really different paths. I’ll always have love for Tim, but he made that choice, and it’s okay – but it comes with repercussions.

“Everyone’s like, ‘You guys had such a good friendship,’ and I’m sad about it too. I’ve got to say, it’s been a bit to process this week.

“But my love, my arms, my doors are always open, and I really mean that.”

Lucinda added: “It was an incredible experience. We shared a lot, tough for both of us.”

And it’s safe to say Lucinda is incredibly busy at the moment. Due to an incredible demand, an additional 13 dates were added to the tour.

“I’m really thrilled that I’m coming to the UK and Ireland. I’m so pumped.”
