Netflix fans are losing their minds over one “gem” of a series”.
Over in the Netflix Bangers Facebook group, someone wrote: “Better Call Saul, any good?” Fans immediately rushed to comment on the iconic series, which is part of the Breaking Bad universe.
One person wrote: “Brilliant! First season is slow, but necessary!,” while someone else said: “I loved it, it’s a masterpiece.” Others said “10/10,” “it’s a gem” and “so good,” while one comment read: “You have to keep watching it, very good.”

Someone else simply gushed “masterpiece” while one fan added: “Better watch breaking bad first then come to this…you will understand it well that way.” Some people warned against the “slow burner” episodes, with one person writing: “Apart from the ‘Charles season’, yes. Just go right ahead and watch the last episode of that one. The rest is phenomenal.”
“It’s great once you get into it,” chimed in another streamer as others discussed the show, that is “good enough for any Breaking Bad cravings”. Better Call Saul is a 2015 drama series that ran for six seasons until 2022.
The show stars Bob Odenkirk, Rhea Seehorn, Jonathan Banks, Michael Mando, Patrick Fabian and Giancarlo Esposito. Netflix’s description of the show reads: “This Emmy-nominated prequel to Breaking Bad follows small-time attorney Jimmy McGill as he transforms into morally challenged lawyer Saul Goodman.
Better Call Saul received a number of Emmy nominations for Outstanding Drama, Lead Actor and Supporting Actor. Some scenes in the show take place during the events of Breaking Bad, which is widely regarded as one of the best shows of all time.
The American crime drama series is set in Albuquerque, New Mexico and follows Walter White, played by Bryan Cranston, as an underpaid chemistry teacher who finds out he has lung cancer. After a run-in with former student Jesse Pinkman, played by Aaron Paul, the pair team up and work together to produce and distribute methamphetamine.
The show originally aired on AMC back in 2008 and concluded in 2013. Breaking Bad has received rave reviews from critics and fans alike over the years, achieving a cult following.
