“She made me feel very comfortable from the off. She’s such a legend. She is so good at playing that feisty role and it made me go a bit feistier. But in the rehearsals, I wouldn’t swear. I would just say, ‘The F word’. On a take I’d swear but in rehearsals I wouldn’t swear in her face. I couldn’t do.”

In the TV adaptation of Harlan Coben’s Fool Me Once Michelle plays former ops pilot, Maya Stern, who gets a shock after returning from the war to find out that her beloved husband has been savagely murdered. However, there’s an interesting twist.

While Maya struggles with grief, she catches her previously-thought-deceased husband playing with her daughter on the baby monitor. Thus setting off an exciting chain of events in which the female protagonist will have to solve the mystery.
