“My life, our whole world, has been turned upside down. A deep unimaginable pain I cannot put into words.

“My loving Dad, Your workshop is locked up and I sleep with the key. I promise to keep your workshop dream going.

“Until we meet and sing together again. Goodnight Dad My absolute king Your Bubberloo [heartbroken emoji]. ‘Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give, but cannot. All that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go’.”

Her followers were quick to offer their support in the comments, with one writing: “Oh Sophie I’m so heartbroken for you and your family at this sad time,” while another shared: “Oh Sophie, we are so so sorry for your loss. Sending so much love to you and your family. Take as much time off here as you need, we’ll all be here on your return.”

Another fan expressed their sympathy, saying: “Oh Sophie this is so sad. Your dad was your world as you were his. He is still here just on another way looking down on you and still so, so proud of all you have achieved. Sending you lots of love. To you, the boys and all your family. Take care, darling.”

Previously, Mrs Hinch had stepped back from the online world when her father was taken ill and admitted to hospital. She shared her emotional turmoil in a heartfelt Instagram video, reports the Mirror.

Not long after, Sophie updated her followers that her father had returned home and even posted a touching photo of him with her sons, Ronnie and Lennie.

At that difficult time, she opened up, saying: “So, my dad is in hospital at the moment. My dad has never been blessed, shall we say, with fantastic health, from his chest, his lungs, his heart. He’s always struggled.”

Sophie also recounted how she created a workshop for her dad in their new £1million “forever home” farmhouse, complete with wood and tools, to help him realise a lifelong dream he’d cherished since childhood.
