Naked Attraction host says show should be ‘shown in schools’ to help tackle porn issue

Presenter Anna Richardson believes her hit dating show, Naked Attraction should be shown in schools.

The controversial Channel 4 programme which sees singletons try to find romance in the nude has been on screens since 2016. With host Anna guiding the romantic hopefuls along their love journey, the show offers full frontal nudity as well as candid discussions on sexual preferences.

Anna has now revealed that parents are now watching the show with their teens to hopefully eradicate the rise in porn viewing. But 53-year-old Anna seems to think that schools could benefit from the show too.

Talking to The Sun, she said: “Parents have said to me they put it on and watch with their 16-year-old sons because they want them to see what real women look like. We know that we’ve got a big problem with pornography.

“It’s time that we kicked back against that and against violence towards women, and started showing this is what ordinary people look like and what ordinary bodies look like. That is the beauty of the show – there’s an educational element. I’d be on board with getting it shown in schools.”

Despite the Ofcom complaints, the Channel 4 dating show is now on its 12th series. And presenter Anna believes its ongoing success is due to its “family viewing”, just like BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

But although she has an admiration for those who strip off on the show, Anna stated that she wouldn’t be willing to take off her clothes on national television. She said: “Am I OK with my body on holiday? Yes. Would I ever go on TV and take your clothes off – only if there was an actual purpose to it.”

Anna previously told The Metro that the male contestants on the show usually have one request. The host explained that the lads are always asking producers to turn up the heat as they fear that their manhoods will look smaller. However, the women prefer the temperature to be a little more on the chilly side as they reckon their nipples being hard makes their boobs look a lot more perkier.
