Nelly Furtado worried fans after she suffered a major fall on stage during an electric performance at Coachella.
On Saturday (April 13), the 45-year-old was in the middle of singing her hit single Eat Your Man, when she appeared to get tangled up on stage. Moments later, she toppled over landing right on her face.
The audience fell silent as a loud thump could be heard through her microphone. But the hitmaker took it on the chin and continued with the song without missing a beat.

Proving laughter is the best medicine, she owner her blunder and posted a clip of her slip up online with some words of wisdom for her loyal legion of fans. She captioned the post: “Eat Your Man… not the stage [cry-laughing emoji].”

Despite putting on a brave face, the star shared that she suffered a gruelling injury as she returned backstage. Taking to Instagram, Nelly showed off her bloody thumb from her fall.
She captioned the snap: “Literally left it all on the stage… including my blood.” But the star managed to smile through the pain, as she flashed a bloody thumbs up and exclaimed: “This Barbie like to rave!”
Fans online soon flooded to X – formerly known as Twitter – to praise her for her brave performance online, despite her injury. One user penned: “This can happen to anyone. Sending hugs.”

Another noted: “Got back up like a professional.” A third chimed in with: “Hey, good recovery” as a fourth echoed: “Not a beat missed.” Meanwhile, a fifth reasoned: “It takes a lot of courage to continue performing after something like this.”
Thankfully, Nelly had better luck days earlier when she delivered a show-stopping performance at the Juno Awards in Canada. The Promiscuous singer performed a montage of her biggest hits at the Scotiabank Centre stage in Nova Scotia.
She rocked a long-sleeved silverish jacket which cut over her midriff. The Grammy winner flaunted her toned abs and displayed her endless legs while strutting around the stage in matching boots.

After ditching her short jacket, the songstress showed off her toned physique in a skintight metallic bodysuit. Her daring one piece featured huge cutouts that struggled to contain her ample assets.
She parted her hain in the middle and pulled the rest of the strands into a low bun as she belted out her best-selling singles. She also shared black and white snapshots from her performance on Instagram.
