Netflix viewers have issued a warning over a horror film that left them “traumatised for eternity”.

The 2005 movie in question stars blonde beauty, Kate Hudson as a young hospice nurse who begins working at a chilling New Orleans plantation. Her character, Caroline Ellis, soon learns the home of her employer has a mysterious past, prompting her to investigate a dark secret about the illness of its owner, Ben Devereaux.

A Facebook post recent post on LadBible group, Netflix Banners, saw one user declare: “I won’t rest until i find a horror movie that will traumatize me for eternity.” It was met with an overwhelming response, The Skeleton Key the clear candidate to meet the horror buff’s needs.

One fan commented on the post: “Ever since The Sixth Sense, thriller ‘twists’ have become increasingly lame and pointless, but in The Skeleton Key, it actually works quite well.”

Another added: “That old black magic is back in theaters this summer, bottled up in a frightful delight that just might rattle your bones.” A third penned: “I’ll never in my life watch that movie again.”

And a fourth wrote: “A good movie. And there are alternative endings too.”

Under each banner comes several sub-categories for those users wanting to break their options down further. For example the Horror Movies section alone is divided further into several sections: Cult horror (10944); Deep see horror (45028); Foreign horror (8654); Horror comedy (89585); Monster movies (947); Satanic stories (6998); Slasher and serial killer movies (8646); Supernatural horror movies (42023); Teen Screams (52147); Vampire horror movies (75804); Werewolf horror movies (75930); and Zombie horror movies (75405).
