Netflix star reveals skin cancer diagnosis aged 26 as he pleads fans ‘get body checked’

Harry Jowsey has opened up about being diagnosed with skin cancer aged 26.

The Too Hot To Handle star took to his TikTok page on Friday (Aprril 26) to tell his followers about his shock diagnosis and had it removed. In a video captioned: “Please wear sunscreen.”, Harry detailed the events that unfolded at his dermatologist’s office and ultimately concluded that everything is going “to be all good” and “everything’s going to be okay”

“I just wanted to make this post to let you know that summer is around the corner,” he added. “Please wear sunscreen. Please go get your skin checked.” If you’re freckly little frog like me, go get a mole map and get your body checked because you never know.”

Harry said that the cancer was on his “shoulder for like a year or two” but he had “no idea”. He drove his message home urging fans to get their “skin checked, wear your sunscreen and be a little bit more responsible”. The TV star shared that checking for spots is something he has “to do now, and it’s very scary”. Anyway, love you guys. Stay safe”, he concluded his message.

Fans rushed to the comments to pen their support for Harry as one wrote, ‘Dermatology MA here, YES WEAR UR SPF!!!!”. Another follower wrote: “Melanoma siblings! so scary but really glad you are ok and yes sunscreen so important and skin checks.” Harry made a name for himself as one of OnlyFans ‘ top male content creators back in 2021 after earning a total of $3million since he joined.

Speaking exclusively with Daily Mail Australia on at the time, the reality television hunk said his “days are numbered” on the adult website as he decides it’s not his passion. However, he is still active on the website. Despite making millions off of the raunchy site, Harry said at the time he’s much more interested in investing in startups and becoming a legitimate actor.

He said: “I did a few acting jobs already and the days were long and fun and everyone’s interesting and everyone has a different story. Whereas reality TV kind of just put you in a corner and just film you. But this time I got to talk to people and I fell in love with it. It was a 14 hour day, but I still left that feeling, “Oh, wow, I’m part of something that’s really cool. These people love and care about this project and really want to see it succeed and it wasn’t like reality style.”
