Nicole Kidman didn’t seem fazed by stripping off for a sex scene with a man 20 years her junior.
The Hollywood icon, 56, got saucy with her Netflix co-star Zac Efron, 36, for new rom-com A Family Affair. But it’s not their first time sharing a controversial on-screen moment, as Nicole previously had to urinate on the High School Musical star in The Paperboy 12 years earlier.
In the controversial scene, Efron’s character had been stung by a jellyfish, and weeing on him was the only way to treat the pain – much like a controversial Friends scene of the same genre.

But now things are getting steamier for the pair, as Nicole plays Brooke Harwood – a woman who embarks on an affair with her daughter’s film star boss. Zac is playing Chris Cole, while stars like Joey King and Kathy Bates also appear in the movie.
In the trailer, Nicole’s character is seen stripping to a black bra and panties as she straddles Efron, holding his face close to hers. And after their romp is over, she says: “I went a little crazy. I’m allowed, right?”
Nicole slams Efron against a wall in the saucy scenes, ripping off his shirt as he tells her: “I’ve waited for you forever.” But for Zac, he was “apprehensive” about the racy role.
He told People magazine: “I was still a bit apprehensive but reuniting with Nicole is always so great and as talented as she as an actress, she is equally kind, caring and wonderful to spend time with.” He called their chemistry “seamless, natural and fun”.
Zac has previously confessed he was “uncomfortable” during a sex scene with Kidman in The Paperboy, as the director never yelled ‘cut’. He said: “Basically, I was with Nicole Kidman, and it was insinuated in the scene – it was mostly improv – that we were supposed to hook up, but the director never yelled ‘cut’.
“Yeah, we went there. It was uncomfortable just because I didn’t know when we were going to stop. It was pretty cool, though, considering it was Nicole Kidman.”
It’s hardly the weirdest moment they’ve shared together, after Nicole had to actually urinate on his leg to add authenticity to one scene in that same movie. The director asked Nicole to do it for real – and she agreed.

But for the seasoned actress, it wasn’t “weird”. She said: “The peeing thing, I didn’t think it was that weird, because I was in character. That was for the jellyfish. And for me it said so much about Charlotte.” She added: “One, she’s protecting him. Two, she’s tough as nails and no-one else is going to pee on this guy.
“All of that made total sense to me. I just went for it and didn’t overthink it.”
