Noel Gallagher was booed on stage as he shot down hopes for an Oasis reunion.
The star and his brother Liam have been feuding for years and fans of the Manchester rock band have long hoped that they will put it all behind them and get back on stage together. There have recently been rumours about the brothers quietly planning some secret comeback shows.
But according to the Mirror, Noel addressed it during a festival and poured cold water on the gossip, making it clear it wouldn’t be happening any time soon.

He and his High Flying Birds band were performing at the Y Not Festival when a fan asked about a possible Oasis comeback. Noel replied: “When are we going to see you? In 2025 or 2026? The answer is neither.”
Disappointed by the star’s response, some members of the crowd booed. However, he joked that he would take their groans “as a compliment”.
Noel and Liam were huge in the 90s and noughties, with hits like Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger and Whatever. But they split after a bust-up backstage at a concert in 2009 and have been locked in a war of words ever since then.
Despite the fact they’ve publicly traded barbs, Oasis fans have never let go of the hope that they will reunite. But it doesn’t seem to be on the cards.
A few years ago Liam claimed that Noel once turned down £100million to get Oasis back together for some shows. He said on The Jonathan Ross Show: “I know for a fact there’s nothing left on the table. We did have a good crack. We did everything. We didn’t leave anything on the table. Like, nothing.
“When someone offers you £100million to do a few gigs and that man, you’re going to go, ‘Alright then yeah…’ There was a lot of money knocking about.
“It was £100million to do a tour and that and I’m thinking, ‘I’m not a d******d, know what I mean? I’ll have a bit of that.’ He’s not into it is he?”
