Noel Gallagher’s daughter slams ‘ageist and misogynistic’ Oasis fans as ticket row erupts

Noel Gallagher’s daughter has waded into a heated row brewing between Oasis fans.

24-year-old model and photographer Anais Gallagher has hit out at members of the Oasis community who have been turning their nose up at younger lovers of her dad’s band. It appears a bitter feud has started before tickets go on sale for the band’s reunion tour.

Brothers Liam and Noel have announced Oasis have gotten back together and are heading out on tour next year. The once-warring siblings will be playing 14 UK and Ireland dates in 2025, including four nights at London’s Wembley Stadium.

But sadly, some fans have taken issue with one another as they prepare to battle for tickets to the highly-anticipated comeback shows, the first since they broke up in 2009. It appears a lot of older Oasis supporters feel younger fans don’t deserve tickets and that many people are simply hopping on the bandwagon.

One fan posted on X: “Imagine waiting 15 years for Oasis to reform only to lose out on tickets to Chloe, 21 from Stockport who just wants to hear Wonderwall live. #oasisreunion.” Another complained: “Imagine spending years waiting for your favourite band’s reunion, only to have the tickets get snatched up by someone who’s more interested in mainstream hits like Wonderwall than the deeper cuts.”

She said she’s not putting up with “ageism and misogyny”

However, Anais has stuck up for younger, female fans of her dad’s band suffering “ageism and misogyny” from other fans. She took to TikTok and replied to a video by another young, female fan ranting about the snobbery going on in the Oasis community.

Anais revealed she’ll be trading bracelets like fans do at Taylor Swift gigs as she commented: “One thing I won’t stand for is the ageism and misogyny around people getting tickets. Sorry if a 19-year-old girl in a pink cowboy hat wants to be there, I will have my friendship bracelets ready.”

Oasis are heading out on tour next year

Josie Cannell, the creator of the TikTok video, slammed an Oasis die-hard claiming that loads of people “suddenly love” the band now that they’ve announced their comeback. She said: “Babe, it’s Oasis. It’s actually Oasis, do you know what I mean? They have 21million listeners monthly on Spotify. Everyone f****ng loves them”. She added: “Everyone has always loved them.”

Older fans of the group have claimed they should get priority over younger listeners. One wrote on X: “Over 30’s need to get an advantage lol.” But others have hit back, sticking up for the younger fans.

One, hitting back at the “Chloe from Stockport” jibe, replied: “Imagine Chloe from Stockport knowing the lyrics to every song but never having had the opportunity to see Oasis live last time round. apparently less deserving than you, securing tickets over you!! You never been to see a band that were big when you weren’t old enough.”

A second said: “Why is a new generation of fans less deserving? It was teens listening the first time around too.” Another commented: “One of Liam’s main reasons for wanting it back is for the newer generation to experience it live but Billy, 45 from Ireland would cry his eyes out if he misses out on tickets.”

Tickets for Oasis’ UK and Ireland tour go on sale on Saturday (August 30) at 9am.
