Former Oasis star Noel Gallagher has broken his silence on his new mystery woman.
The 56-year old confirmed he had split from his ex-wife Sara MacDonald in January 2023 following 12 years of marriage. The couple met in 2000 and went on to have two children, but their relationship became strained during the coronavirus pandemic, according to Noel.
The High Flying Birds frontman was also previously married to socialite Meg Matthews, but they went their separate ways in 2001 four years after tying the knot. Now after being spotted several times with another woman by his side including at his Royal Albert Hall gig in March, Noel has opened up on his new relationship.

“I’ve punched above my weight several times in my life. And I think if you can make a girl laugh the battle is more than won,” he said.
Noel continued in the Sun: “I mean, when you drop your trousers, you’d rip them off and show them the little nubbin of fury. If they do laugh, you’re halfway there for a peck on the nubbin.
“I think if you have to act a certain way [to get a woman] then you’ve to act like that for the rest of your life. She’s either into you for what you are, or the quest continues.”
By pure chance, the lady in question is called Sally – a name mentioned in arguably the most famous song the star has ever written – Oasis’ Don’t Look Back In Anger. The track’s chorus begins: “So Sally can wait, she knows it’s too late as she’s walking on by.”
Noel went on tease: “She’s a good woman. She doesn’t show up often, but it was nice to see her [at the Royal Albert Hall]. She says she sees a steely look in my eyes. She’s looked into my eyes countless times down the years.”
Speaking to pal Matt Morgan on his Patreon Podcast last year, Noel spoke for the first time about the freedom of being a single man in London, before making a quip about their settlement.
“I can get on the bike and go up to King’s Cross, and go down to the canal at Longfield Road,” he said. “And get on the canal outside my wonderful ex-wife’s house and give her a little wave, and go, ‘You didn’t take this from me!'”
