Olivia Attwood reveals rocky romance with Bradley Dack helped her land new ITV2 show

Olivia Attwood says her past relationships with bad boys helped her land a brand-new ITV2 show.

The 33-year-old Loose Women star has been married to footballer Bradley Dack since last year but their romance hasn’t always been smooth sailing.

They started dating before she appeared on Love Island back in 2017 but after finding out her now-husband cheated on her at the time with his ex, she decided to sign up for the ITV2 dating show, which made her a household name.

Olivia and Brad have managed to overcome their bumpy start and are stronger than ever and with the couple juggling their careers and coping with a long-distance relationship whenever he is away playing football and she is in London working.

The TV beauty told press ahead of the launch of Olivia Attwood’s Bad Boyfriends: “When Brad and I were together the first time it wasn’t as serious as we obviously went on to be in but I think him, and other boyfriends I’ve had, has given me a lot of life experience.

“There’s times where I should have walked away sooner, there’s times when I handled things wrong and all the boyfriend I’ve had, and including my experience with Brad, it’s a life experience and a lot of people ask me for relationship advice on social media and that became this show. Sometimes it’s good advice but sometimes it’s crap.

“We were discussing something around like me in an agony aunt type of situation years ago and what could a show like that look like and then when these incredible creative minds came to me with this format. I thought ‘that sounds insane’ and they were like ‘we want you to host it’ and I couldn’t believe they wanted me to do it, the other person must have been busy.”

Eight unsuspecting bad boyfriends will be flown to a Greek island under the premise of filming a series about manhood and bromance in a hedonistic holiday mecca, before getting the shock of their lives when Olivia appears to announce their wild partying days are on hold and to reveal the true purpose of the show – to whip them into better boyfriend shape.

All at the behest of their long-suffering girlfriends, whose surprise, dramatic arrivals cause mayhem. Olivia has her work cut out attempting to reform this wayward bunch of boys from serial cheaters and lazy lovers, to commitment-phobes and man-children, it’ss time to shape up or ship out.

Across 11 episodes, the boys will compete in a series of challenges, designed to rectify their ways and battle it out to become the most improved boyfriend but can the couples get back on track with Olivia’s help?

There will be eliminations across the series as the least improved boyfriends deemed incapable of improving are voted out, resulting in one boy being crowned the most improved boyfriend but left facing a huge dilemma.

Olivia added: “He [Brad] said he saw himself in so many of the lads and he was like ‘remember when our relationship looked like that’ and I was like ‘yeah I do and it was f***ing crap’.”

Olivia Attwood’s Bad Boyfriends starts on Sunday, September 1 on ITV2 and ITVX2 at 9pm
