Oti Mabuse has hinted that she might be planning for a second baby soon.
She already has a little girl with her husband Marius Lepure, who was born just a few months ago. The Dancing On Ice judge, 33, had a tough time when her daughter was born early and had to stay in the hospital for six weeks because of jaundice but this hasn’t stopped her from wanting more kids.
In a recent chat with The Times, when asked how many more kids she’d like, Oti said: “As many as I can afford,” She also shared that her difficult experience only made her stronger. She said: “What I have been through shocked me, but it made me even stronger. You can imagine if I’m ambitious in my work, how ambitious I am as a mum,”.

Oti, who is also a professional dancer and sister to Strictly Come Dancing judge Motsi Mabuse, announced the birth of her daughter on Instagram at Christmas. She posted a lovely family photo where she, her husband, their new baby and their dog were all wearing matching festive pyjamas, reports OK!.
When she visited Giovanna Fletcher’s Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast last month, Oti shared that they kept the birth secret for nine weeks. They wanted their family to have some quiet time. “She was very premature, she came really, really early – unexpected premature which was a big, big shock. Going through that emotional trauma that you go through when you have a premature baby, and then being in hospital with the little one for six weeks and then finally coming out and having her home with friends and family over Christmas was really nice,” said Oti.
Further, she explained how serious her baby girl’s health was at first: “She was in a critical condition really for the first six weeks and me and Marius just really wanted to be there mentally, physically, emotionally.” Adding more to the story of her daughter’s critical health, she stated: “I think we didn’t hold her for about a week, because she was still in an incubator with wires, with jaundice, so, she was under blue light. And she had infections because it turned out that I had sepsis. And it’s something that was missed or was not seen or was not tested for.”
It comes after Oti was recently left in tears after she was left feeling emotional. She got ahead of herself as she got thinking about her baby daughter’s future. Next to a video shared on her Instagram Story, Oti penned: “Looking at myself on the train after I cried because the school near my house held an Easter parade for the kiddies and I already imagined my daughter moving out, going to study in university on another continent because she found out I tracked her on iPhone Find Me and wants independence.”
The mum of one added a crying laughing emoji but also said: “I’m not OK.” Oti also posted the video on her main Instagram page and said: “The hormones are giving,” with her fans and followers quick to share their own stories.
