Phillip Schofield reportedly paid his young lover a whopping six-figure sum to keep his mouth closed about their relationship.
The Mail on Sunday reported that the former ITV presenter gave his ex-colleague, who is 34-years-younger than Schofield, the huge amount of money and asked him to sign a non-disclosure agreement which stops him from talking about their relationship.

A source said to be familiar with the NDA told The Mail on Sunday: “The young man has been fragile for some time. That is no secret, there was a payment made for various matters that followed Phillip’s decision to speak out about his relationship and as part of that, an NDA was arranged and signed.”
“It means that Phil knows that his young ex will not ever be able to speak about their relationships so he can probably sleep a lot better at night now. He has lost a lot but imagine if the full details came out – it would be pretty cataclysmic for him.”
Phillip’s world was turned upside down back in 2023 after he left This Morning following reports of a fall out with his co-star. After leaving the show, he opened up about an affair with a younger male co-worker while married to his wife Stephanie Lowe. He later cut ties with ITV after admitting he lied to them about the affair.
In an article published on dailymail.co.uk, the publication said: “A lawyer acting for the former This Morning presenter has now confirmed a deal was signed with his former lover last year, including a ‘mutual non-disclosure provision’ and payment to compensate the man for losses suffered.”
It has been reported that the ITV employee in question met Schofield when he was in his teens – it is claimed the pair met for the first time when he was 15 and that Phillip helped him bag a job as a runner for This Morning when he was 19-years-old.
