P Diddy revealed why he stopped clubbing with Ashton Kutcher.
Sean Combs and Kutcher became close in the 2000s and began clubbing together, reportedly until about 2003. In a 2010 Time essay, Diddy wrote about his pal and revealed why the duo’s party days were numbered.
According to the I’ll Be Missing You rapper, it was Kutcher’s serious relationship with actress Demi Moore that put a stop to things. Combs wrote: “For a while, with Jamie Foxx, we were a rat pack, hanging out, going to clubs.”

“I remember one night he was with Demi, maybe for the first time, and a couple of weeks later he called me to tell me he was in love. That was the end of our clubbing,” explained the rapper.
Ashton and Demi stayed together for eight years before they eventually parted ways back in 2011. The That 70s Show actor went on to reconcile with his co-star Mila Kunis and married her four years after his split with Demi.
The duo tied the knot back in 2015 and have welcomed two children together. Although Kutcher decided to throw in the towel when it came to partying, Diddy did explain that the pair remained close despite their differences.
Combs wrote at the time: “But we are still friends. Not that cliché of: ‘Let’s make a move, let’s do a deal,’ he is a sounding board for me. Like me, he’s a mogul – a new media mogul. But we are yin and yang: I am in your face and he is understated, cool, suave.”
Ashton has remained quiet about the rapper since Combs’ arrest on 16 September and his charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, all of which he “categorically denies”.
However, past comments about the rapper have resurfaced in light of Diddy’s legal troubles, particularly one Kutcher made back in 2019 while on Hot Ones. When the topic turned to Diddy’s famous parties, Ashton said: “Wow, I’ve got a lot I can’t tell.”
