The real Wolf Of Wall Street’s ex-wife has revealed she gave Margot Robbie tips ahead of her show-stopping nude scene in the film.
The Barbie beauty played Naomi, the wife of Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio) in the 2013 film. In the movie, she stripped off for a steamy scene that saw her seducing the stockbroker.
Speaking on the Anything Goes with James English podcast, Jordan’s real life ex Nadine Macaluso – who inspired the character of Naomi – said that she and Margot met for a meal before she shot the nude scene and that the actress had been a bit worried about stripping off.

She shared what she said to the star, explaining: “I said, you know that feeling that you feel right there Margot, like speaking truth to power, that’s how I felt my whole marriage so think about that when you’re doing your role.”

After watching the movie, she said that the Hollywood star “did a great job” of portraying Jordan’s wife. “She was so good and funny and feisty,” added Nadine, who was married to the money man from 1991 to 2005.
Margot – who was just 22 when she made the hit film – has previously said that she thought that stripping off was right for her character in that particular scene.

Opening up about it to The Telegraph at the time, she said that she found nudity for the sake of nudity to be “shameful”.
But she said that she also didn’t like it when there was a scene in which someone would have got naked in real life, but then on screen they left underwear on or covered themselves up with sheets.

“The whole point of Naomi is that her body is her only form of currency in this world,” the star said. “So when Marty (director Martin Scorsese) was trying to help me out, and said in the scene where she seduces Jordan perhaps I could have a robe on, I said she wouldn’t.
“She has to be naked. She’s laying her cards on the table.”
