Rylan Clark confessed he shared an intimate moment with TV star Rob Rinder as he said he “woke up underneath me”.
The two men appeared on ITV’s This Morning on Thursday (May 16) to promote their brand new show, Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour. Discussing their BBC programme with presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, the TV duo talked about their blossoming friendship as well as the adventures they got up to in Italy.
But Ben was keen to find out whether Rob, 45, and Rylan, 35, were also romantically linked. Although the two men said they were just good friends, Rylan revealed that they did share a close moment while travelling around Italy for their show.

He said: “In Venice, we were in separate accommodations. In Florence we were in the same accommodation but in different rooms and by Rome, I’m waking up with him underneath me, and I was like, ‘Get off of me Barrister.”‘
Ben and Cat then laughed at Rylan’s comment. He then added: “We started this process as mates and we’ve finished it as actual genuine friends and that’s probably one of the best things to come out of it.
As viewers watched the pair at home, many were loving Rob and Rylan’s authentic relationship. One fan headed over to social media site X and wrote: “They really complement each other, each brings his own insight to the table and are open to learning from it. Just lovely to see.”
Another penned: “I could listen to them both all day…it is a good watch.” While a third joked: “Rob and Rylan purposely feeding the thoughts of their fans by leaning right into each other on the sofa arms touching.”
Rob and Rylan sparked romance rumours last week when they turned up at the TV BAFTAs together. Rylan was later forced to address a journalist online after someon approached his mother outside her home to quiz her on the rumours.

Heading over to X in fury, Rylan wrote: “To the journalist that just doorstepped my mum at her house, as polite as you were, please don’t. She said you was a lovely man but she’s 71 years old and it makes me feel slightly uncomfortable.
“The answer is no. I’m not dating Rob Rinder, he’s one of my closest friends. Next time, tweet me.”
