Saturday Night Takeaway takes racy turn as fans in stitches at ‘w**k’ blunder

Saturday Night Takeaway fans spotted a racy blunder.

Ant and Dec returned to present their hit show on Saturday (March 23). During the latest Win The Ads segment, audience member Grace was lucky enough to be chosen to play.

But as her photo and name appeared on-screen behind Ant and Dec, viewers were quick to notice the X-rated mistake. As Dec was blocking part of her name, it actually spelled out w**k.

Viewers couldn’t help but comment on the blunder online as one wrote: “I beg your pardon? What’s her name… #saturdaynighttakeaway.” Another penned: “Feel so childish laughing at that unfortunate angle of her surname on the screen #SaturdayNightTakeaway.”

“Unfortunate positioning there lol #SaturdayNightTakeaway,” a third declared. Despite the amusing mix-up, Grace went on to win all 16 prizes.

Elsewhere in the show, fans were confused over a segment involving Cat Deeley. The This Morning presenter made a surprise appearance for part of the programme called “What’s next?”

This is the only part of the show where Ant and Dec aren’t aware what comes next. The 47-year-old presented the TV duo with a Dreadtime Story, a nod to her time on CBeebies when she hosted Bedtime Stories.

They were forced to follow every instruction in the book, and both presenters returned to the stage wearing elaborate costumes. Their tasks included doing burpees and eating porridge with fermented tofu sauce.

While some found it amusing, others weren’t so pleased with what they saw. “What a load of tosh. End it please #SaturdayNightTakeaway,” wrote one viewer.

Another fumed: “Just tuned in. What the hell is this s**t. #SaturdayNightTakeaway.” Echoing this, a third penned: “F**k me what sad TV viewing Saturday night has become #SaturdayNightTakeaway.”

A fourth weighed in: “Is this supposed to be embarrassing for them or for us? #SaturdayNightTakeaway.” Someone else agreed: “Other than ant constantly falling over, this is a complete cringe fest #SaturdayNightTakeaway.”
