Screaming Prince Harry swears through TV horror maze as he pushes career without Meghan

Prince Harry cursed loudly while being filmed as he appeared in a haunted maze during a surprise appearance on a US chat show.

The Duke of Sussex is said to be trying to push his television career as a solo celebrity, away from his wife Meghan. He made an appearance on Jimmy Fallon during his late-night talk show.

Harry, 40, “Jesus, f***,” during the comedy sketch where he tested out a Halloween experience. It’s located at Rockefeller Centre in the Big Apple and named Jimmy Fallon’s Tonightmares.

While Harry appeared to be helping out a friend promote his latest venture, it comes amid rumours the royal couple are trying to further their public reach while remaining in California. After walking through the haunted section towards the end of the spooky stroll, the royal was so shocked that he swore.

In another funny moment, an actress playing a zombie fails to know who Harry is. After he walked her by, she was shown asking a colleague: “Who was that?”

At another point in the segment, Harry joked that one of the other actors looked like Canadian crooner Michael Bublé. “Is that Michael Buble? Good job, buddy,” Harry said.

Harry added in some more humour at the end by pretending to throw out a punch after being frightened by an actor who popped up behind him. The maze will be open to the public and includes “ten spine-chilling rooms that bring Jimmy’s nightmares to life,” according to the website.

The Duke has been in New York this past week as he participated in a series of engagements for his patronages and philanthropic initiatives, including Travalyst and Archewell Foundation’s Parents Network.

Elsewhere on the tour, Harry was pictured at a private engagement with the conservation group African Parks. There, he was seen wearing a pin emblazoned with his and Meghan’s logo – a ‘H’ and an ‘M’ entwined together.

It appears Harry is trying to establish himself in the public eye since his departure from the Royal Family back in 2020. However, royal enthusiasts don’t seem too pleased.

Taking to X, one royal commentator quipped: “If you need any more evidence that Harry and Meghan are pathetically trying to be America’s royals… This is what ambassadors and politicians wear, a pin with their country’s flag on it. Even William & Catherine’s staff aren’t forced to wear something so stupid.” Another scathed: “That’s real desperation for relevance.”
