Simon Cowell has revealed a new furry friend and appears completely smitten.
The judge from Britain’s Got Talent, who is 64 years old, already has five dogs at home with his partner Lauren Silverman and their son Eric, who is 10. Simon posted on Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter, to show everyone his new little dog, a Chihuahua.
He wrote under a cute picture: “I’ve just fallen in love,” but he kept the pup’s name a secret for now. In the photos, Simon, wearing shades, cuddles his new pet and gives it a kiss on the head.

Stars including Hollywood actor Taylor Lautner said: “I get it,” and singer Calum Scott added: “The glasses are such a vibe Simon! (dog is cute too).” The tiny Chihuahua joins Simon’s pack of pooches, including German Shepherd Pebbles, Yorkshire terriers Squiddly and Diddly, Daisy, who he found in Barbados, and Freddy, his late mum’s dog, reports the Mirror.
Simon found Daisy when she was left all alone with her puppies on a trip to the sunny Caribbean in 2018. Every year, Simon helps dogs without homes in Barbados by holding auctions. He fell for Daisy after she was dumped with her two little ones.
A charity called K9 Puppies, which Simon supports, helped Daisy and her puppies get better. The music boss loves his pooches so much that they go everywhere with him. They fly to places like Los Angeles, London, and even the Caribbean. On their flights, the dogs get fun squeaky toys and tasty treats.
Last April, he said he’s going to give lots of money to dog charities when he’s no longer here. He’s got a big heart for dogs at places like Dogs Trust, K9 in Barbados, and Battersea Dogs Home in London. After a bike crash, he decided to make a will.
He told The Sun that making a will was really tough. He said: “Unfortunately, you have to – and that day, when it comes, is like, ‘Christ, I’ve now got to sit and talk about my death for the next few hours’ It was dreadful. But the fact that I’ve done it now has given me peace of mind.”
Simon also wants to clone his furry friends one day. He’s planning to spend a whopping £180,000 to make copies of them with a company from South Korea. He told The Sun on Sunday: “I am 100 per cent cloning the dogs, all of them.”
He said: “We’ve thoroughly looked into it, got all the details and I can prove to you I’m going to clone them. There is documentation. I am doing it because I cannot bear the thought of them not being around.”
