Stacey Solomon has admitted her struggles about balancing her motherly duties.
The queen of organisation helped a couple, Keith and Charlie, tidy up their bungalow on her show Sort Your Life Out. The couple have three kids under four years old.
Keith’s paternity leave was ending in a week, while Charlie had gone back to work when their youngest was just 12 weeks old. Charlie, a dental hygienist, got emotional talking about going back to work so soon after having her baby.

Stacey, who also went back to work after having her kids, understood how she felt. She asked Charlie when she returned to work, to which Charlie replied: “When Danny was 12 weeks old.”
Stacey shared that it’s always hard balancing work and wanting to be with her kids, reports OK!. “That’s not easy,” sympathised Stacey, adding: “I felt exactly the same.
“It’s a big sacrifice to have only 12 weeks with your newborn and then decide right, I’m going to go in and earn and bring in the money. It’s really difficult.
“But I also understand when work’s there you’ve got to take it. It pulls you in two different directions. Do you ever take a minute to consider how hard you’re working and how much stress that is on you?”
Charlie then said: “I think because things are so busy, I just keep going, but then every once in a while you just blow up a little bit.”
Stacey returned to work in 2023, just months after welcoming her youngest daughter Belle to the world in February of the same year. The Loose Women star had been through the same process previously with her other children too, with Stacey herself currently also having three kids under the age of four, just like Keith and Charlie.
But despite the previous experience, it never made it any easier, which each separation always bringing with it another dose of emotional baggage that needed to be navigated and acknowledged, rather than bottled up.
Offering Charlie her own words of wisdom, Stacey then said: “I’ll be honest with you, the guilt you get from going to work – I don’t know what to do, because I love my job but I also love and want to be there with the kids. It’s really difficult.”
