Stacey Solomon has shared her family heartache with a beautiful tribute.
The TV star, 34, was left completely devastated after her dog Theo passed away on Boxing Day back in 2021. Since then, Stacey and her husband Joe Swash have rescued another dog called Teddy, who fitted into their family well.
They decided to adopt another pooch after Stacey had become concerned for her dachshund Peanut, who like everyone else at Pickle Cottage had been feeling sad after Theo’s passing.

Even though their blended home is once again full with two pets and six-children between them, Stacey heart has continued to weigh heavy ever since she lost her loving chihuahua. Taking to her garden, where Theo is buried under a beautiful blossom tree, the Loose Women star shared a sweet video tribute.
Showcasing the intricate detail of a beautiful tree that boasted stunning pink petals dotted all over, Stacey explained to fans the sentiment behind her post. She went on to detail a hidden and happy meaning of the tree coming into bloom.
Stacey told fans: “Theo’s blossom tree is in full bloom. It’s the most magical, spectacular tree that brings me so much comfort and happiness just like Theo. Can’t wait for my morning cuppas and chats in the sunshine under here with Theo.”
On a still image of the beautiful tree, she penned: “I can’t even describe how much I miss Theo. But every year this tree has bloomed since we lost her it gets better and better and bigger and more beautiful.” The mum-of-five added: “I know it sounds silly but it feels like she’s saying ‘I’m happy where I am and I’m always growing with you.'”
Meanwhile, over on Channel 4 on Wednesday (April 11), Stacey hit the headlines after she revealed Joe’s horrendous pet name for her. Following the success of Sort Your Life Out, she’s now taken on the host role of Stacey Solomon’s Renovation Rescues.
It was on this programme that she let slip Joe’s rude name for her. Her Eastenders husband made a guest appearance to discuss the transformation of their garage.
Stacey is hoping to transform it into a gym while Joe needs somewhere to store his fishing stuff, so they mutually agreed to build a wall down the middle so that both of their needs are met. Speaking to camera, Stacey revealed: “”Joe call’s me Donald Trump because he says I’m forever building walls.”
