Warwick Davis credits support from fans for helping him battle through his grief after losing wife Samantha.
The movie star has been swamped with love since her death aged 53 in March. In an emotional interview, he said: “It’s tough. You never know when the grief is going to hit you.
“But people have been lovely everywhere I’ve gone. They have offered condolences and sympathies. They take the time to do that and I really appreciate it. It takes a lot of courage to go up to somebody and say, ‘I’m sorry for your loss’.

“I make sure I embrace those moments because it means a lot.”
Warwick made a brave return to the spotlight when he attended the Pride of Britain Awards last week. Being there without Samantha wasn’t easy.
He said: “I normally go to Pride of Britain with Sammy. The last time we went, we had a lovely evening. You have to remember the good times. I wanted to go this year even though she’s not here. It’s important to carry on and do what I used to do as soon as possible.
“My advice to anyone going through grief would be to surround yourself with people who can support you. As soon as you can, get back out and do the things you used to do. I hope I inspire others in a similar situation.”
